O P Source is 100% owned and operated by Gayle Andrews. Gayle has spent 25 years in the office products industry, with a background as a senior manager for a major commercial stationer, branch manager for a national wholesaler, VP and general manager for a manufacturer and as an independent consultant and importer/exporter. She opened OP Source in the fall of 1996, distributing ball point and roller ball pens under the Standard brand name. The pens are manufactured and assembled under strict quality control guidelines, utilizing Swiss tips and German inks. The majority of the ball point pens feature a unique new low viscosity (LVX) ink, which coupled with a nickel silver tip, promotes smoother writing. O P Source has a company goal of utilizing and partnering with other minority and woman owned businesses. An additional company goal is to annually donate pens valued at approximately 10% of company profits to the Los Angeles Kids 'N Need Resource Center which enables school supplies to be provided to children in need in the Watts area of LA. OP Source is located in Garden Grove, California, a primarily Hispanic and Vietnamese American community. |
